of less than 2%. The supply chain for these raw materials is plagued with
challenges like fragmented customer and supply base, unreliable supply and
service levels and working capital challenges along with limitations on credit
availability.
Our goal is to
transform this market through technology and process innovation across multiple
workstreams like procurement, financing and fulfilment. Given that the buying
behaviour is offline and heavily assisted today, our initial focus will be to
build a platform that balances human interaction and digital efficiency to
deliver great experiences.
We seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our
team and drive our supply chain product strategy. If you are passionate about

Position Overview: As a Senior Product Manager for Supply Chain at Organisation, you
will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, development, and
enhancement of our supply chain roadmap. You will collaborate closely with
cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, and
marketing, to ensure that our supply chain products align with our overall
business goals and deliver superior value to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy
and Vision: Develop
and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our supply chain
solutions, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Product
Roadmap: Develop
and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines features,
enhancements, and improvements aligned with business objectives and
customer requirements.
- Cross-Functional
Collaboration: Collaborate
closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and marketing teams
to gather input, define requirements, and ensure successful product
development and launch.
- Market
Analysis: Conduct
thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging
trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for innovation within the
supply chain domain.
- Customer-Centric
Approach: Maintain
a deep understanding of customer needs through direct interactions,
feedback analysis, and market research, and translate these insights into
impactful product features.
- Feature
Definition: Define
detailed product requirements, user stories, and use cases for engineering
teams to ensure successful and efficient development.
- Product
Launch: Lead
the successful launch of new supply chain products or features,
coordinating efforts across departments and ensuring effective
communication to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Performance
Tracking: Establish
key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of
supply chain products, and continuously monitor and analyze these metrics
to identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder
Communication: Regularly
communicate product updates, milestones, and developments to stakeholders
across the organization.
- Risk
Management: Proactively
identify potential risks and challenges related to product development,
supply chain disruptions, or market shifts, and develop mitigation
strategies.
- Leadership: Provide mentorship,
guidance, and leadership to junior product managers and cross-functional
team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related
field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven
experience (X+ years) in product management, with a focus on supply chain
solutions and processes.
- Strong
understanding of supply chain management principles, logistics,
procurement, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated
success in driving the development and launch of complex products within
the supply chain or related domains.
- Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make
data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Experience
with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools.
- Strategic
thinker with the ability to balance short-term goals with long-term
vision.
- Strong
leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional
teams.
