Hiring: Technical Writer
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, sales, marketing and
other stakeholders to understand the features, functionality, and
requirements of our products and offerings.
- Research, write, edit, and format technical documentation that is
accurate, comprehensive, and easy to understand.
- Use various tools and platforms to create and publish documentation
in different formats and media, such as HTML, PDF, Wiki, Excel and
Live-help, etc.
- Follow the documentation standards and best practices for style,
tone, structure, and format.
- Review and update existing documentation to ensure it is up to
date, consistent, and aligned with the product and service changes.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, users, and internal
teams to improve the quality and usability of the documentation.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and deliver
them on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, communication, or related
field.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical writing or
documentation.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Familiar with various documentation tools and platforms, such as
Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, MadCap Flare, etc.
- Experience with various documentation types and formats, such as
user guides, manuals, tutorials, FAQs, release notes, etc.
- Knowledge of technical writing principles and best practices, such
as grammar, style, tone, structure, format, etc.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them
in simple and clear language.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
