Position Overview: As an Agile Product Owner, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of our products, ensuring that they align with the company's vision, customer needs, and market demands. You will lead cross-functional teams, driving product strategy, development, and iteration in an agile environment. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative, data-driven, and customer-focused professional with a deep understanding of agile methodologies and product management principles.

 

Responsibilities:

1.     Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with the company's goals, market trends, and customer needs.

2.     Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

3.     Agile Implementation: Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring that the team delivers value incrementally and iteratively.

4.     Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a customer-first mindset throughout the product development process, gathering and analyzing user feedback, conducting market research, and staying informed about industry trends to make informed product decisions.

5.     Prioritization: Effectively prioritize features, user stories, and product enhancements based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and market opportunities.

6.     Communication: Communicate product goals, progress, and results to internal stakeholders, executives, and customers, ensuring transparency and alignment.

7.     Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to optimize the product development process, leveraging metrics and feedback to refine and improve both products and processes.

8.     Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues early, taking proactive steps to mitigate them and adjusting the product strategy and roadmap as needed.

 

Qualifications:

1.     Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

2.     Proven experience as a Product Owner/Manager in an agile environment.

3.     Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and product management best practices.

4.     Exceptional leadership and team collaboration skills.

5.     Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.

6.     Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

7.     Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

8.     Experience in software/tech and/or a highly regulated industry (FinTech, Aerospace, Healthcare, etc.) is a plus.
