About
the Product: Organisation is working on a Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform
that enables customers to order, provision & monitor networking services
orchestrating the full B2B customer life cycle. The customer facing portal is
the customer touchpoint for our whole portfolio of networking solutions
including third party value-added service via partners. Overview We are looking
for product managers with a track record of shipping solid and beautifully
designed products to join our fast-growing product development team. The
product manager will be working on our NaaS platform and is responsible for the
commercial success of the product. They must work cross functionally, unifying
and motivating peers from different teams (e.g., developers, designers,
marketers). The product manager should be an expert on the product’s customers
and their needs and often acts as a subject-matter expert for the product,
supporting other marketing and sales resources by augmenting their knowledge
and filling their knowledge gaps.
Roles/Responsibilities
•
Conduct market and customer research to gather insight and understand personas
and needs
•
Establish the vision and strategy for products and communicate them across the
organization
•
Write and present the business case for products
•
Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market
•
Create, document, and communicate about products and product roadmaps
•
Gather competitive intelligence and perform competitive analysis
•
Coordinate the creation of prototypes and testing of product concepts
•
Document product requirements, user stories, and artifacts to support the
product development process
•
Create pricing models and facilitate pricing decisions
•
Provide direction to the product development team and oversee product
development
•
Coordinate activities to ensure that new offerings include the desired
capabilities and launches on time and within budget
•
Verify completion of the product and the readiness of other elements related to
the product
•
Provide support to sales (e.g., make prospect/customer calls, provide sales
enablement content, contribute to internal and external social
communities/blogs/portals)
•
Provide input to marketing for relevant activities and deliverables (e.g.,
buyer personas, competitive positioning, market requirements, launch plan)
•
Monitor product adoption and use and collect customer feedback
•
Prioritize and select product enhancements
•
Initiate or manage relevant strategic partnerships as needed
•
Assist in managing and resolving customer escalations as needed Requirements •
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar technical field
•
2-4 years of product management experience (preferably in B2B SaaS) •
Product-led Growth mindset keeping users at the center of everything • Comfort
in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
•
Ability to conduct market, competitor, and customer research to gather insight,
assess market opportunities, and make the case for investment
•
Ability to coordinate with product development, engineering, and other
functions for product development and delivery • Product lifecycle management
• Exhibits analytical, rational, and
logical thinking for optimal problem-solving
• Creative and innovative
• Empathetic to buyers, customers,
users, and sales resources
• Detail-oriented, well-organized,
efficient with time management
• Knowledge of Project management
tools, Product analytics tools and adoption tools is an advantage
