TITLE: Product Manager- 5G RAN
LOCATION: Bangalore; Gurgaon
REPORTING TO: VP & Head of BU RAN Products, Portfolio and Commercial Management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Product planning based on
Technology & Market Trends
§ Strategic outlook to define,
execute and own the roadmap
§ Prepare detailed requirement
specifications to enable development team to build product as per roadmap
§ Ensure that product is built
and released on time within assigned budget in close collaboration with Development
and Testing teams
§ Active participation in Agile
ways of working- Prioritizing features / backlogs, Sprints, Qualifying the
product for release
§ Disseminate product
information on achieving each milestone in product development to launch to
sunset. (i.e. from Product Ready for Marketing to GA to End of Life)
§ Watch on competition and
prepare SWOT for effective product positioning
§ Highlight uniqueness in
product offering
§ Ensure timely availability of
marketing collaterals of the product
§ Participate in Events for
demonstrating product capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
§ 15+ years of relevant experience
and proven track record in Product Management
§ Strong knowledge of 5G, O-RAN
and Containerization
§ Good knowledge of 3GPP
standards as well as specifications being driven by Industry / Service Provider
alliances like ORAN.
§ Previous experience in
building a product including definition, requirements alignment with customers
and the industry, including forums like ORAN, TIP and standard bodies like 3GPP
and ETSI and testing, validation and certification at Service Provider labs.
§
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications
Engineering. Master’s degree will be a plus.
