About the Role

Acts as a strategic partner and key member of the executive leadership team, working closely with the Board of Directors to ensure organizational performance expectations are met and exceeded.


Responsibilities

  • Coaches and develops direct reports and management teams across all operational functions to ensure delivery against key business metrics and strategic objectives.
  • Identifies and implements methods to improve quality, efficiency and productivity, reduce costs, increase profits, and strengthen control measures across the enterprise.
  • Leads collaborative efforts to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls and procedures that enhance the overall efficiency of the firm and ensure excellent client service.
  • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company to the Board of Directors.
  • Motivates and leads a high-performance executive and management team across multiple departments and functions.
  • Attracts, recruits, and retains top-tier talent for key leadership positions throughout the organization.
  • Provides executive mentoring and leadership development as cornerstones of the organization's management development program.
  • Collaborates with the executive team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to take on new challenges with a mindset that seeks continuous improvement and innovation at all levels.
  • Works with significant autonomy while ensuring the Board of Directors' expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable, and results-driven culture throughout the company.
  • Represents the firm with clients, investors, and business partners at the highest levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, operations management, or a related field required
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 20 years of progressive management experience with at least 5 years in a Director/President role
  • In-depth understanding of industry including risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and capital planning management
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership ability with proven track record of driving organizational growth and transformation
