Position Summary:

 

Highly motivated self-starter responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas and goals and for the overall sales strategies and results of south Region.

All sales are made through channel partners. Leverage and partner with Channel Partner Account Executives on lead generation, account planning and new account development and/or expanding existing accounts.

 

Requirements/Responsibilities.

 

Should have minimum experience of 8 – 12 Years in Sales / BD.

Experience in Handling IT/ITES, Large Enterprise

Experience of working in tender / RFP scenario

Should have handled Tier#1 and Tier#2 System Integrators like Airtel, IBM, Kyndryl, HP etc

Responsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and pro-actively identifying and addressing competitive threats.

Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals and should have proven track records of same

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments and government regulations that effect target markets.

Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts.

Relationship with CxO and key decision makers in the account

Highly competent in selling technology products, customer relations, negotiation skills and Presentation Skills

Travel Needed across South (Base location Bangalore)

Position Description

Organisation’s Cloud Sales Specialist- is responsible for securing the Cloud Services business.

Responsibilities

  • Selling the full suite of Organisation’s Cloud Services portfolio as an overlay, in collaboration with Organisation’s regional sales teams.
  • Upselling and cross-selling Organisation’s Cloud Services portfolio to existing Organisation accounts.
  • Prospecting Organisation’s Cloud Services portfolio for new accounts across all verticals.
  • Developing and nurturing a network of high-quality active channel partners and resellers of Organisation’s Cloud Services portfolio, and servicing as “trusted vendor partner” with them to hunt and close new business.
  • Managing relationships with the key accounts of Organisation’s Cloud Services portfolio in order to maintain a strong relationship with Organisation and keep them constantly apprised of Organisation capabilities.
  • Forming successful relationships with the Organisation’s sales teams to build opportunities and grow business.
  • Working within Organisation guidelines to negotiate appropriate pricing, service level, and legal terms with prospect customers.
  • Developing a network within Organisation to maximize the value of existing resources and knowledge to drive business development.
  • Ensuring clean handoff from pre-sales to appropriate service delivery resources.

Requirements

Job Description

The Technical Manager must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Technical Managers are the primary technical resource for the sales force. Technical Manager are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. Technical Manager should work very closely with System Integrators & partners in our target market segments. TM must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned SI/ Partner to assure SI/ partner satisfaction through all stages of the association. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle.

  • Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
  • Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Able to convey customer/alliance partner requirements to Product Management teams
  • Able to travel throughout sales territory.
  • Deepen technical engagement with partners to improve the customers’ confidence and knowledge about how Organisation solutions work and how well they perform with partners’ solutions, hence strengthening our value proposition.

Required Skills

 

The candidate should have expertise in the following protocols in large scale implementations: L2-L3 switching, Routing protocols, TCP-IP protocol suite. Knowledge in the following areas is also desired: L4-L7 switching, Server load balancers, SSL accelerators, Firewalls, IDS/IPS.

 

  • Load Balancers (e.g. Organisation, Foundry, Alteon, NetScaler, F5, Cisco)
  • Network Operating Systems (e.g. IOS, CatOS, JunOS)
  • Server Operating Systems (FreeBSD and Linux)
  • Internet Software (Apache, BIND)
  • Network monitoring and management (e.g. nagios, mrtg/rrd, snmp)
  • Sniffers and Protocol Analyzers (e.g.tcpdump, ethereal)
  • Scripting (e.g. Shell, Perl, Python)
  • Security (e.g. SSL/TLS, VPNs, Firewalling, IDS/IPS)
  • Working knowledge of routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP)
  • An excellent understanding of WAN and LAN switching and routing, ARP, TCP, IP, HTTP, SMTP, DNS and other related internet protocols
  • A strong working knowledge of secure Web application delivery
  • A strong working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack

Primary Accountabilities:

 

·         Goal is to increase number of large customers and move to maximize opportunities in total account for all products and services that Organisation offers.

·         Responsible for business development in Middle East region and maintain pipeline as per assigned sales target.

·         Responsible for preparing and coordinating account management plans of sales proposals, tenders/enterprise customer.

 

Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)

 

·          Engineering graduate. Engineering with an MBA will be preferred.

·       Proven sales skills with end customers, preferably with channel interaction as a benefit, with at least 6-9 years proven experience.

·       Excellent product knowledge and ability to apply features and benefits of products to user needs as well as proven history in learning new product sets and features and applying these to customer sales opportunities.

·       Solution selling skill  and knowledge/ understanding  of  Enterprise Application and technology

·       Ability to keep customers abreast of technological developments and trends and competitive activity and communicate relevant information to customer base.

·       Ability to work with Channel and manage end user sales.

·       Understanding of channel, distribution and IT market landscape.

·       Understanding of Application delivery & security solution   as well as other complimentary products and partners.

·       Good track record in the industry

·       Strong proven negotiation skills to sell value of product and not focus on pricing.
