Job Summary:
We are looking for an
ambitious and tech-savvy Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our VSaaS
business growth in assigned territory/state. This role demands a
proactive sales leader with a strong understanding of cloud-based video
surveillance solutions, channel management, and enterprise sales. The ASM will
drive territory expansion, partner enablement, and customer acquisition to meet
revenue targets in a rapidly evolving security tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory
Management:
- Own
and manage sales performance for the assigned territory or a state.
- Develop
deep market insights and identify key growth opportunities
- Map
and expand channel networks within the territory
- Sales
Execution & Target Achievement:
- Achieve
monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Monitor
and improve market penetration and sales productivity
- Track
key metrics such as sales volume, ARPU, and channel performance
- Customer
& Channel Relationship Management:
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and
stakeholders
- Resolve
customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct
periodic meetings and market visits to strengthen on-ground relationships
- Strong
understanding of the SaaS, Security & Surveillance, Cloud Solutions
market and partner ecosystems.
- Market
Intelligence & Reporting:
- Stay
updated on competitor activities, pricing, and product offerings
- Provide
timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to
management
- Analyze
sales trends and adjust strategies as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA/PGDBM preferred).
- 6–7
years of proven sales experience.
- Prior
experience managing sales in the assigned territory/stage is highly
desirable.
- Experience
working in a SaaS, cloud computing, or technology-driven environment.
- Knowledge
of AI, cloud solutions, VSaaS, Video Surveillance and related
technologies.
- Experience
in managing partner networks and strong understanding of the territory.
- Experience
selling subscription-based or managed service offerings.
- Local
language fluency highly desirable.
