Job Summary:

 

The HR Information Systems (HRIS) Manager is responsible for Organization’s global human resources systems, their connections with broader company applications, vendor management, policies and procedures.  Software implementation, integration, training, communication, reporting, and administration are critical aspects of this role. This position will continuously research efficiencies for business processes that are based in the human resources department, that impact the entire organization.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Direct/execute assigned projects, including data collection/design and development specifications/testing criteria/recommendations and implementations.

  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
  • Uses knowledge of Human Resources to recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes that promote technology and increase productivity while eliminating duplication and manual efforts

·         Provides maintenance and support for all HR systems including configuration and customization; researching and resolving HR system problems; performing scheduled activities; and recommending solutions and alternative methods to meet requirements.

  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.

·         Identifies standard reports for ongoing business/department needs and develops custom reports to meet the needs of management

·         Documents standard processes and procedures; develops recommended training solutions; and creates training to assist users on system functionality.

·         Manages HR business processes and system set up; security administration and system user access; and data integrity and efficient processing of HR data;

·         Researches the need for third-party interface solutions.

·         Maintains HR system tables such as Departments, Job Codes, Locations, etc.

·         Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

Skills/Knowledge:

·         3-5 years of systems experience with UKGPro (formally UltiPro), other HRIS or information systems related platform.

·         Experience with global HRIS implementation and management, preferred

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically Excel

·         Ability to troubleshoot technical issues as well as develop and implement strategies to address problem areas with human resource technology.

·         Possess a drive to improve current workflow and productivity via technology and a desire to learn new technologies.

·         Skill in planning, organizing, and managing workload and priorities.

·         Able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities.

·         Ability to effectively communicate on complex issues with a high level of effectiveness.

·         Able to organize work and set priorities for accomplishing work in a timely and effective manner.

·         Able to work collaboratively and effectively with global colleagues and vendors.

·         Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
